All for the Hall New York is an event designed to provide support for and to bring awareness to the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum and its role as the caretaker of America’s music.
Hosted by Nancy Jarecki, bettybeauty, inc., and Timothy Leiweke, AEG, this event includes cocktails, dinner, a live auction, and a guitar pull featuring music and storytelling by some of music’s biggest stars. Rod Essig, Creative Artists Agency, and Ken Levitan, Vector Management, produce the evening’s entertainment.
The All for the Hall campaign began with a gathering of artists at Vince Gill’s home. Vince talked about the not-for-profit Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s role as caretaker of America’s music and urged country music artists to donate one night’s pay to help preserve our shared musical heritage. From tip jars to sold-out arenas, artists at every level joined the cause.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum belongs to a varied national and international community of museums that collectively safeguard our nation’s memory and the world’s heritage. As the world’s largest repository of country music history, the Museum returns precious memories to the heart and soul of all striving musicians and the millions of listeners they comfort and inspire.
For more than a hundred years, this lyric-intensive and storytelling music has given voice to the thoughts, feelings, challenges, triumphs, and values of America’s working people. As the music of, by, and for the people, the music is an intimate portrait of American dignity, an electrocardiogram of our nation’s heart, a compelling and revealing history of American democracy and a record of American history.
Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is operated by the Country Music Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization chartered by the state of Tennessee in 1964. The Museum’s mission is the preservation of the history of country and related vernacular music rooted in southern culture. With the same educational mission, the Foundation also operates CMF Records, the Museum’s Frist Library and Archive, CMF Press, Historic RCA Studio B, and Hatch Show Print.
